On Monday, it was announced by Apple that it is going to launch its latest mobile device in 17 countries, such as Canada, Australia, Switzerland. July 30 is considered to be the launch day of the iPhone 4 for 17 countries.
Actually, the phone is already available in five countries, i.e. the U.K., the U.S., France, Germany, as well as Japan. On July 30 the list of countries will be expanded, it will include Belgium, Austria, Denmark, Hong Kong, Finland, Italy, Ireland, Netherlands, Luxembourg, New Zealanad, Norway, Sweden, Spain, as well as Singapore. But unfortunately Apple did not reveal the pricing of these countries.
At the annual Worldwide Developers conference that was held in June Apple revealed its plans concerning the launch of the iPhone 4 abroad. During the conference it said that the company is going to unveil the handset in 18 additional countries in late July. But later it was confirmed by Steve Jobs that only 17 countries will get the handset. It turned out the shipment of the phone will be delayed in South Korea, but no reason was disclosed.
It is expected that the launch of the mobile device will continue in August with 24 additional countries. Also the company has high hopes to hit 88 countries by the end of September.
