Recently it was added a video by Apple that shows the Droid X has the same reception problems. On the video one can see a hand that holds the Droid X, while a magnified pop-up shows the signal indicator of the handset. The signal of the Droid X degrades in a quicker manner from three bars to two, and in a couple of seconds it loses reception.

According to Apple’s Webpage, every smartphone is equipped with a cellular antenna. Moreover, almost all mobile devices are able to lose signal strength in case you hold it in a particular way.

It looks like the company has chosen the following strategy: the best defense is a good offense. But still it is unclear why Apple keeps taking shots of its rivals. What for? Why the Droid X? According to New York Time, the new handset of Motorola that is based on Android is the mobile device that can be held in any way. In fact, it is a clear reference to the handset’s antenna problem. It looks like Apple has decided to include a lot of its rivals, i.e. as many as it is possible.
