Another Smartphone Is Added to Apple’s Antenna Performance Pages
On Friday Apple has included another smartphone into its antenna performance pages, such as the Droid X.
During its conference the company acknowledged the iPhone 4’s issue, but it was emphasized by the company that they are not unique. As a result, the company has offered bumpers of new cases to the owners of the new handset that are available free of charge.
In fact, the page includes allegedly antenna-impaired handsets from RIM, HTC, Nokia, as well as Samsung. Now one can see Motorola.
It turned out that Apple tested the Motorola Droid X. As a result, it was revealed that the handset dropped from 3 bars to 0 bars in case it is held in a way due to which the signal is attenuated.
Still there are people who are not agreed with an attenuation issue of the Droid X. Preston Gralla from Computerworld did not see any issue with Droid X. He said that when he was making a call no problem occurred. Moreover, there is no need to use bumpers of new cases. But it is impossible to say the same when it comes to iPhone 4.
