Specs of HTC Desire HD Leaked: Is It a Great Hit?
HTC is deemed to be a successful company producing high-demand and high-quality smartphones. HTC’s latest product is the HTC Desire HD. It is original Desire model’s update (at the moment it is released in the U.K. only).
An online U.K. retailer SuperETrader published a list of specs for the abovementioned model. It will appear in stores in October 2010. The HTC Desire HD possesses the following features:
* WVGA touch screen – 4.3 inches;
* camera – 8 Mega Pixel;
* Android 2.2 OS;
* Qualcomm processor – 1 GHZ;
* HD 720p video capture;
* internal memory – 4GB (can be upgraded to 32GB);
* SRS surround sound;
* Adobe Flash 10;
* unibody aluminum design;
* e-book reader;
* automatic face tracking.
The most enticing features in this phone are the unibody aluminum design and the e-book reader. “Unibody” implies that HTC adds some sex appeal to its devices, so the iPhone 4′s aesthetics is threatened by a new rival – the HTC Desire HD.
In our view, bigger 4.3-inch screens are for the better, moreover, the Motorola Droid X has a similar size display.
The only hazard for the company is that the phone’s too many Android options can overwhelm consumers.
