About two years ago the LG Vu was one of the devices of AT&T that was launched specifically for the live mobile TV service. One should admit that the Vu was enabled with a lovely 3-inch display. Moreover, the cell phone was available with a pull-out antenna in order it was possible to amplify the television reception.
Finally, AT&T and LG come out with its successor that is known as the LG Vu Plus. The handset offers AT&T Mobile TV, but it does not have the antenna. The mobile device can be availed for $149.99 and is offered with a two-year service agreement.
In fact, the Vu Plus looks the same as its predecessor, but still there are some differences. The size of the handset is 4.31 inches long by 2.1 inches wide by 0.6 inch thick. One should note that the Vu Plus is thicker and longer compared to the original model. Probably it is because of the sliding QWERTY keyboard. Also it is slightly heavier, i.e. 3.95 ounces. Though the handset has rounded edges, still it looks rather blocky.
The Vu Plus is equipped with a capacitive 3-inch display. The screen is colorful and crisp due to the resolution of 240×400 pixels as well as 262,000 color support.
It is equipped with all necessary essential features, such as Bluetooth with A2DP stereo support, GPS with AT&T Navigator, and others. Also it comes with an excellent 3.0-megapixel camera, but it would be preferable if it is able to capture better photos.
In fact, the LG Vu is a full-featured messaging cell phone that comes with the bonus of live mobile television.
